Let’s get our feet wet.
Have you ever wondered what baptism is all about? Christians use baptism as a symbol of their decision to publicly proclaim their decision to trust in Jesus as the only person and God to have saved them from their sins. Going into the water is reminiscent of how Jesus was buried after he was killed on the cross; coming out of the water represents Jesus’ resurrection three days later. The water is symbolic of the washing away of sins from your life — past, present and future! (Yes, following Jesus is that good!)
